{"id":208,"date":"2012-09-13T17:18:18","date_gmt":"2012-09-13T17:18:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ourbestlife.org\/?p=208"},"modified":"2012-11-02T13:41:07","modified_gmt":"2012-11-02T18:41:07","slug":"what-would-you-do","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ourbestlife.org\/?p=208","title":{"rendered":"What would you do?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Imagine that someone close to you (Jay) took the blame for something that a friend of his did (Evan). \u00a0Imagine that Jay got into big trouble at school and Evan took none of the blame.<\/p>\n<p>If you were Jay&#8217;s parent or guardian would Evan be welcome in your house after this?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Would your answer change if you could see that Jay truly loved Evan regardless of how Evan felt?<\/li>\n<li>Would your answer change if you could see that Jay truly loved Evan and you could see that Evan truly loved Jay?<\/li>\n<li>Would your answer change if Evan apologized to both you and Jay for what he had done?<\/li>\n<li>Would your answer change if Evan confessed his guilt at school and was give the same punishment that Jay already received?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>How far must Evan go in order to be welcomed back into your house?<\/p>\n<p>Thinking about this scenario really helps me put into perspective why I think we are only welcome in God the Father&#8217;s house through Jesus. \u00a0Jesus loves us, but God loves Jesus so much that he is willing to open His door only to those who truly love His Son.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe our own personal answers to the above questions will help us see what God&#8217;s answer would be for us to enter His house?<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Jesus for taking all of the blame and loving us so much!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Imagine that someone close to you (Jay) took the blame for something that a friend of his did (Evan). \u00a0Imagine that Jay got into big trouble at school and Evan took none of the blame.
