He has placed His light inside ALL of us and gifted us with the task\u00a0of bearing His torch – We are His Torch Bearers.\u00a0<\/strong>Unlike the olympians of today who carry the olympic flame over great distances through\u00a0a short period time leading up to the games, we must carry His flames over a much greater distance and through the great expanse of time, passing His flame from generation to generation.<\/p>\n

We shouldn’t overcomplicate our task, He asks us to bear this torch, the light of His love, as we walk through our\u00a0life. \u00a0During our walk He wants us to shine the light of His flame\u00a0into the dark places, share His flame with those who have lost it, and carry His flame high for all to see. It really is all about LOVE!<\/p>\n

Precious Holy Spirit, I praise You and thank You for the\u00a0faithful households\u00a0in this world who still carry a torch that\u00a0burns brightly with\u00a0the original flames of Pentecost. \u00a0Without Your light in them many of us would be lost. \u00a0I pray for You to keep their flames\u00a0strong and continue to spread the fire\u00a0of Your love by reigniting many torches that have grown cold.<\/p>\n

Acts 2:3-4
\nThey saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.<\/span> \u00a0<\/sup>All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Matthew 5:14-16
\nYou are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ezekiel 1:12-14
\nEach one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went.<\/em><\/span> The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches.
