{"id":1572,"date":"2018-08-31T11:25:01","date_gmt":"2018-08-31T16:25:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ourbestlife.org\/?p=1572"},"modified":"2018-08-31T11:29:39","modified_gmt":"2018-08-31T16:29:39","slug":"sometimes-we-have-to-crawl-under","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ourbestlife.org\/?p=1572","title":{"rendered":"Sometimes we have to crawl under&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have been thinking a lot about the walls we all build around ourselves and our hearts. \u00a0We build walls for all kinds of reasons, for protection, to hide, to exclude others, but I think most of these reasons boil down to fear\u00a0&#8211; we build walls because we are afraid.<\/p>\n<p>It is interesting when you come up against someones wall, it\u00a0usually appears to be quite strong, tall and unable to be breached, but I think most\u00a0of these walls are not set on firm\u00a0foundations. They are built quickly out of fear and as times passes openings appear at the bottom. \u00a0These openings are small and initially hidden, but are easily spotted by those near the ground. They are the perfect size for a sly serpent to crawl under\u00a0and continue feeding the\u00a0fears, or for a humble heart\u00a0to crawl under and dispel the fears with the light of truth that shines forth from humble heart.<\/p>\n<p>This is not new information, but oh how important it is &#8211; we should revisit it often and remember to humble ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>Philippians 2:3-4<br \/>\n<em>Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.
