\u00a0<\/em>You are gladly received or willingly permitted, admitted, accepted. \u00a0Where did this originate? \u00a0Perhaps a language expert could enlighten us on the true historical details of where this response originated\u00a0from, but\u00a0what if we let our imaginations roam for a bit?<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps long ago there was a person or a group of people who truly passed on every <em>Thank you<\/em> they received to God knowing that anything they had done to deserve the gift of gratitude was from God, so in turn their response to<em> Thank you <\/em>changed from\u00a0<em>It was nothing<\/em> or\u00a0<em>No problem<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0became\u00a0<em>You are welcome<\/em> as an inspired message from God\u00a0to communicate with others and let them\u00a0know\u00a0that they too were\u00a0welcome in His Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>As I stretch my imagination to make this up tonight, I hope that my own responses to\u00a0<em>Thank you<\/em> in the future will move away from the personally accepting phrases of\u00a0<em>No problem, It was nothing,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>sure<\/em>, to His inspired message of\u00a0<em>You are welcome<\/em> with a prayer that I am nothing more than an instrument of communication.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Isn&#8217;t it interesting that in english the correct response to\u00a0Thank you is\u00a0You are welcome?
