{"id":1121,"date":"2015-01-16T13:05:52","date_gmt":"2015-01-16T19:05:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ourbestlife.org\/?p=1121"},"modified":"2015-01-16T13:05:52","modified_gmt":"2015-01-16T19:05:52","slug":"there-is-still-more-work-to-be-done-within-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ourbestlife.org\/?p=1121","title":{"rendered":"There is still more work to be done within me!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t remember the exact context, but I was praying for my husband last week and part of my prayer was for something to change\u00a0in him. \u00a0He didn&#8217;t know of my prayer for him, but within hours of this prayer my sweet husband shared\u00a0a story of when he was young, a sad story that testifies again to his strength, kindness, consideration and the attention he shows\u00a0others. \u00a0It is a story that he had never shared with me\u00a0and a sad memory for him\u00a0that breaks my heart.<\/p>\n<p>Shame on me, shame on me to ever think that the work in me is done and\u00a0I am ready to ask others to change.<\/p>\n<p>The work we must do here is on ourselves. \u00a0We only fully know our own stories. \u00a0For everyone else we must have compassion, understanding, patience, kindness and love because no matter how close we are to someone, there is always something we do not know.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus thank you for my sweet husband and for bringing us\u00a0even closer. \u00a0Thank you for opening my eyes to even more of his love, kindness and strength and for gently reminding me that\u00a0there is still more work to be done within me!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t remember the exact context, but I was praying for my husband last week and part of my prayer was for something to change\u00a0in him. \u00a0He didn&#8217;t know of my prayer for him, but within hours of this prayer &hellip;
